Thiago has 15 years of construction experience in Estimating, Pre-Construction, Cost Engineering, Design Project Management, Architecture, and Construction Management. He is the Senior Construction Manager at GRIT Construction where his responsibilities include the development and evaluation of contracts for subcontractors and suppliers, material procurement/purchasing and execution, risk and safety management, construction cost oversight, and serving as a key resource for the construction management team.

Prior to joining GRIT, Thiago started his career as a Design Project Manager at Lins Galvão Architects + Partners in Brazil where he coordinated the development of multi-story building design projects. Shortly after, he was an M.S. Programs Professor at IPOG Graduate Institute.

When he made his transition to Philadelphia, he served as the Project Superintendent at Center City Construction and Development. He was responsible for the development of scheduling and estimating / budgeting for the complete construction of multi-family, single-family, commercial, and mixed-used buildings.

Thiago has a master’s degree in M.S. in Construction Management from Philadelphia University. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
